New Strandberg Boden Metal

Finish options are about as boring as it gets, but those Suhr Aldrich pickups are nice. I have them in my Carvin C66.

I like paint on guitars mostly. It’s a musical instrument you are supposed pick materials that sound good. Remember all the glass bright exotic hardwood bodied stuff in the late 70s with oversized brass hardware? They sounded like concrete.

No, I don't remember. But I'll take your word for it, old man. :rofl JK

I just can't jive with these.... how do I train myself to find these attractive?? Have I gotta type in "Hot Japanese milf plays polyphia riffs" into Redtube or something???
Yeah I think that’ll do it!
I’d like a headless, but Strandbergs are fucking painful to play, IMO because of the neck. I just posted because I know there are fans here.

They are a pita to keep but some seem better than others. Tyler satin neck finish stays matte for years.
I just suffer from OCD and get triggered when I see these matte finishes “buff out” from regular use. I’ve passed up many guitars over the last few years because they were only offered in matte finishes.

I dropped a soldering iron on the back of my Les Paul once, and took out a bit of a chunk. Oopsie.

You'll be alright. Treat yourself! I hear they play really well!!!

:rofl

Satin and matte are slightly different right? Love my satin vela and have yet to experience any spotting issues, but to be fair I don’t play it as much as some of my other guitars
