Question about Suhr RL 'thru'

If I just want to use the Suhr RL as a DI, but use a real speaker as the load, which is 16 ohms, can I ignore the 8ohm input requirement on the Suhr??

IE:

Amp 16ohm out ----> Suhr Amp Input
Suhr Amp Thru -----> 4x12 16ohm cab
Suhr Unfiltered DI ---> Axe FX III input 2

yes, it’s the impedance of the cab that the amp sees

Yep. It disconnects the internal load but still taps the signal for DI.
I use two reactive load boxes that way, one into the other.
