It’s my “Wake up the crowd between songs” tone. I tied a ring modulator to an expression pedal, and this is one of my favorite effects in the Fractal arsenal.

Last night I was messing about with this and my wife, who never really interrupts, had to come in to tell me it was the worst sound she had ever heard from me. So, mission accomplished?

My ear has so completely tuned to FAS effects that you hit the first couple clean notes and I was like “that’s that shit” Nothing beats FAS for clean ambience.

Ring modulation is awesome. I used a Moog MF Ring on the second solo for this track.



I've been using it more often nowadays, trying to explore more musical applications with it.
