The wife/husband/partner appreciation thread

I appreciate my ex girlfriend. We were not destined to be together for more than a couple of years, because she moved to a place where I couldn't be with her. She had got me a guitar pick. I have framed it and it's on my wall. It's inexpensive, but I value it as much as jewelry (which I don't have).

I have a few trinkets that I value more than a diamond, but would be junk to someone else.
 
Been with my girl for 32 years, married for 30. She is a great singer and we met on the road traveling with a touring tribute band. She is my best friend and I wouldn’t want to travel through this crazy life without her. And yes, she has bought me several guitars. Plus she loves guns so it easy to please her in that regard. Her favorite is the Uzi. ❤️
 
Married for almost 12 years, been together almost 14. First relationship I had where everything was so smooth.

Not sure how many other people can say this but we have a group text with myself, my wife, and my ex (son's mom) lol.

My then gf moved away sometime back, which is why we broke up. She moved far, far away.

She has been in a relationship with a woman for a year now. She, her new gf and me have met a couple of times. Her gf is very friendly with me. She has told me that I can always contact her/ my ex gf if I feel like talking. When I had some health issue, both of them had called me on my phone to ask if I was all right.

I sincerely hope that one day you will find a new love.

Almost 18 years ago, my partner at the time suddenly passed away. I was devastated and thought for a long time that I could never be happy again. I felt very lost for a few years and didn't know how and whether my life should go on. But after a few hapless attempts with other women, I finally met my current wife, with whom I have now been happily married for 11 years.

Society has not been kind to introverts, and quiet people. On top of it, if one is not highly qualified, not making a ton of money and/ or looks average, such a person will have a hard time finding a lover. People can be incredibly shallow.

It is better to be loved by a person who is average according to societal expectations, but has a huge heart.

Happiness is not hard to find if we don't compare ourselves with more fortunate people.

So true, my wife has never been a fan of my bands or playing but then again a valedictorian married Jeff Spicoli! :bonk

However, she:
NEVER gives me $hit about gear purchases!!!!!

Does
Cook me super healthy dinners pretty much every night
Buys groceries
She starts the wood stove early so I wake to a warm and cozy house with coffee made every am!

I could go on, but yup she's a keeper!!
