Can't see the crack. Did it just develop a crack from dryness that wasn't there when you originally received it?
It’s in the 30% humidity range where I kept it, I’m going to throw some daddario humidifiers in the case for the next one just to be safer. The crack just developed, looks like along a wood joint. You can see the crack if you look inside the body. One day I opened the case (after a few weeks of not playing it) and it was like this:

That is an easy problem to fix. ;)

Nice! That uproute on the Standard isn't something you see every day on a PRS.

Love my Starla. Great guitar.
I have a core Starla stop tail. It is in a finish you don't see very often. I think there are 5 of them out in the wild and one of them is mine. They made a batch of 5 of them when I ordered mine. I have seen the other 4 online and the one exactly like mine actually landed in the Guitar Center near me. It was in there for a while before someone bought it. That tells me that my choice of finish may not be for everyone. :) The finish is Red Sparkle. I think the guitar looks great. It has that all mahogany grunt like an SG has to it but it has more chime on the top end.

They made these between’88-‘91 , and were geared towards the Hair Metal crowd.

These also have wide thin necks, which were made to attract metal rockers.

One of my PRS, a Custom 24, has the wide thin neck. I prefer the wide fat but I can get along wit the WT for a while. For me it seems to be more about the width of the neck and not as much about the thickness of it that could affect me. I am not a big fan of narrow necks. I had an Ernie Ball Axis that I just couldn't get along with. That neck felt like playing a broom handle to me.

Same with me Jason.

I prefer the regular pattern neck on my other Standard & CU24 necks.

Sometimes it’s all about the necks.

Hmm. I have the hardest time imagining 30% humidity being responsible for that.

Yeah, so do I. Having a woodworking background (I used to work in a high end shop - like $2,000 coffee tables high end) I believe that the glue joint just wasn't properly done - a glue joint doesn't just come apart unless it's extreme conditions. Shit happens - I am glad that my wife convinced me to upgrade to a piezo model though.
