How to record guitar?

Not exactly suitable for starters IMO.
Nonsense it’s as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. How hard is it to arm a track and hit record? It’s the same learning curve for any daw.

It also has an endless trial while being 100% operational with no limits. Ergo you lose no money on a daw while you dip your toes into the world of recording. I’d argue it’s a great starter option.

What is a DAW? I'll have to look at it. So a need a DAW, modular, interface and speakers. I've a computer and speaker. I need to get a DAW, modular and interface.
I'll save you a minute: you do not need a modular.

Absolutely not. I absolutely understand the appeal, but saying it's got the same learning curve is absurd. The amount of menus, the amount of buttons, the amount of options - they're all potentially confusing.
He could obviously give it a try, though, maybe it gels with him - but it's certainly not just for fun Reaper has that reputation.

See above.
Anyhow, just give it a try.

However, I don't find an answer to this question: Are you on a PC or on a Mac?
