Gonna smoke some Pork Butt this weekend. Once the Sun is up and the chill is off the
pavement I am going to get out on the Harley and go grab the Meatz so I can get it
prepped and ready to put on the Smoker tomorrow AM.

Mail-lady should be here in the next 90 minutes or so with a couple of Wahs for
Wah Daddy. Very fortunate to be one of her 1st stops early every morning--except
Sundays, when she is servicing the Preacher Man.

Pork butt was the meat we served at our wedding about 9 years ago....spent a little over $250 on a bunch of boxes full.
Love that shit. If it were up to me, everything would be smoked!!!!

One of my favorites is smoked burgers....so flipping good!!

I'll probably drop close to $100 on just meat. Going for total overkill so I can load up the
Freezer.


This is one of my first smokes of the entire year. Been so overwhelmed with obligations
and commitments that the umpteen hours it takes to smoke a large chunk of meat just hasn't been
there.

Until today/this weekend.

I still prefer the hard sear of a Grill (or Skillet/Griddle) over a Smoker for some things. Not Pork
Butt, or Brisket, though. Those should ONLY ever be done in a smoker.

Also, sometimes I use my cannabis trim when smoking....so the meat really relaxes and lets all the smoke in.

Pork is good though!
We're having leftovers chops, asparagus, sweet potatoes. Relatively healthy.
But I'm craving a juicy steak, think we'll fire up the grill this weekend!
