What about just dropping the tuning with a pitch shifter for B standard? I wouldn't like to use it to record but live I would do it any day. Meshuggah does this so that they don't have to swap guitars when they go up or down a half step etcSo played a bit this morning and it seems to like the C# and be at peace with it.
What I'm finding is that I ideally would want 3 guitars in this currently imaginary band:
1. C# Standard
2. Drop C# (one of my Vs is in this and it plays like butter \m/ ) for any songs in drop whatever tuning.
3. Something in B standard for the super lows. AKA Korn
