I know. Gonna cry, man. I :love Armored Saint. Legendary band. That'll be a great show.

I do wonder who is singing with Michael, as that is always the biggest question. :bonk

The guy he had with Schenker here recently-ish (Doogie White?) has a GREAT voice. The other (more famous) guy (Macauley?) with his Real Housewives of New Jersey vibe and that eras lyrical slant always put me off. Until the guitar solos :love I think no matter who it is it will be a KILLER show \m/

I am guessing this Tour will be heavy on the UFO years. :idk

Erik Gronwall (Skid Row) is doing the Tour, and Kai Hansen will
also be showing up for some dates.... look out!... and the blurb says Slash
and Axl will join him on stage... and to expect other "Guest Appearances."

Gronwall (great voice as well!) and Kai Hansen would be KILLER to see!

I am a massive Graham Bonnet fan. I think he was the best fit for Michael
and pulled some great material out of him. Of course, Gary Barden. Legend!

Not so much into any of the other Singers who fronted MSG. I can't do that soft-ass
Adult Contemporary shit he did with McAuley.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah and I wasn't meaning to yuck on Duzie with that comment. Even those songs I bet with a fresh approach or just stripped down sound and Michael's playing will be great.

I feel like he had a real resurgence here a few years back. I went on a HUGE Schenker bender and while I didn't always like some of the more dated hard rock or Macauley leanings back then; they took on a whole new life for me when I started digging in. Flying V love and his super European note choices/playing were a massive inspiration for a pile of my favorite guitar players and by extension; myself. Dude is a GOAT :love

I totally agree with this sentiment.
A sign of the time frame but still…

I’m more of a rocker than the EMO kinda of guy.
There can be a time and place for it though…

I could listen to Assault Attack for the rest of my life and never tire of it.
Love most of the MSG/UFO catalog. Just something special about AA for me. :chef

This era below was so hard for me, though

I mean, they even backgrounded Michael, as if Robin was the Leading Man. :hmm

I remember as a kid, seeing UFO open and they blew away the headliner, Ted Nugent in 1977.

That was a bad year for Ted, Michael Schenker and EVH, demonstrated to Ted , that his relevancy in Rock was over.

That's why after cutting Fire Lines up on the burning mountains of California, I bought a 1971 Gibson Flying V in 1983.

Still own it. It's been thru seven Canadian Provinces, all lower 48 US States and 6 Mexican States.
