Hello everyone, this is Michael - 'Achilles' is my dad.

It's my great sadness to bring you the information that he left our world on Saturday the 23rd at 4:20 PM, peacefully in the arms of his wife, daughter and son.

Thank you all for being a connection for him, and please keep my family in your thoughts and hearts during this difficult time.

Michael, really sorry to hear that. He was an awesome guy to talk to the last several years, really joyful and kind. I am glad to hear he did not suffer long and was able to be with his family at the time of his passing.

Thinking about him last night. It’s funny how we sparred, but ultimately there was never any ill will, and I always admired that he was passionate about his loves and his preferences.

It’s an odd thing in this day, “knowing” someone but only online. It doesn’t diminish the feeling that someone’s gone from the crew, and that hole it leaves.
