Rumor mill: John Mayer plugin coming soon?

What's even more phenomenal is how often they're able to reuse components and get people to pay for tweaked versions of the same amps and effects again and again. The ROI on their model development is exponential at this point.

Just to play devil's advocate here, I hope the irony isn't lost on you. The irony of you most likely owning literally 7 iterations of a tubescreamer or Les Paul, etc. Guitar gear is very much this way across the board. To be fair.

How is that any different from what anyone else is doing? They really aren't just tweaked versions. So not sure what you are referring too.
Also, they are a business. They make things people want to buy. They make money.

Jokes on all the haters, as soon as I told my wife I bought the plugin she told me to go upstairs and take off my clothes and tell Alexa to play Gravity

They really are tweaked versions by their own admission. When you look at the descriptions for the non-branded effects, a lot will have similar controls or say "this is using our Chorus/Delay/whatever engine".

They reuse the same "engines" on the Quad Cortex and Nano Cortex.

Surely you don't think a company that hasn't been able to fill out their promise launch effects list five years later is capable of making bespoke delay/reverb/modulation algorithms every few months for a new plugin?

The new Dumble is an ODS, which is I think the same as the one in Wong with different controls
