But while I'm here, I like K.I.A. vid best I think. The uplifting visuals, the music, and the little tidbits of some weird dude singing. It's a nice balance overall. :headbang
Thanks @FuzzyAce ! Our lead guitar player made that one and put a lot of effort into it, including crawling through the mud while his wife filmed him. Doesn't hurt that it's one of our most popular songs either.

I like seeing footage of the band playing in videos, even if it's just miming. I think that and the cool war clips are what makes KIA so good.

These mixes are a metal bassists wet dream, with the instrument so front and center. Anyone who blabbers off about bass not doing much in metal will get a few RV songs shoved down their throat for good measure!

Glad you dig it Alex. We had our record release show pro-video’d primarily so we could have live shots for future song videos. So, more of that is on the way!

As for bass: Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Cliff-era Metallica, VoiVod, Bolt Thrower… all big metal bands with prominent bass players. I always cringe when I hear people saying bass doesn’t do much in metal.

If Lars hadn’t douched out on …Justice, it wouldn’t have ever been ok to push the bass to the back lot. Don’t even get me started on Jason’s Flotsam and Jetsam work. Absolute crime that Metallica would take arguably the best underground bass player ever and then bury his work.

Even Dave Mustaine knows better. 😂

Figured instead of spamming the sub-forum with threads for every video, might as well have one thread to rule them all! Err - you know what I mean.

Feel free to let me know which ones you like best and why. The more feedback, the better we can make em going forward.

ASHES - from the EP INTO THE DEEP

Ive always been very critical about peoples music and figured one day I could be a music producer so here goes. I heard about 5 of your songs and many have lots of potential but there are several issues with them. They need more creativity with the drumming parts and guitar changes. I know you can't figure out what I"m saying unless I gave you an idea of what I hear and believe it needs. Again, they do have potential, lots but they do need more changes and sort of reminds me of the way Candlemass wrote their songs, long and droning without impactful changes. I hear dramatic parts in your songs that need to be emphasized and I sat expecting it but never came! It looks like your doing all the instruments? These days its hard to get a band going, I pursued it in the Hollywood 90's era and it was a whole world back then in the metal scene and how we went for the music and scene, nothing like today! You certainly have the image! Im looking into buying a 7x16 trailer to convert into a music studio and living situation and perhaps once day I will invite people to send me their works and give them input and even send ideas using my guitar and other FX I have so one can hear what exactly I"m hearing to better the song/s.

Thanks for the feedback. Hope your studio trailer dreams come true!
