Apologizing three times ahead of asking the boys if they want to run the song a few more times can be drag

Everyone's so dead set against pushing themselves so as to "keep it light". It kinda sucks tbh?Apologizing three times ahead of asking the boys if they want to run the song a few more times can be drag![]()
Let’s doooooo eeeeet!!!Book the fly dates now and worry about the line-up later![]()
That is SO true! I practice all the stuff I practice exactly because I'm trying to catch up for all the lost time I spent "partying" that I should've been applying to my guitar playing. And I am getting there, but man I wish I'd done this a long time ago!there isn't enough jam time in the universe to "catch up"![]()
Without ever hearing you; I know you got me beat! That is SO true! HEY!! It's not a competition.Without ever hearing you; I know you got me beat!

I know! It's been a competition against myself since the day I started playing and somehow, I've always lostHEY!! It's not a competition.
You're out there still trying to put stuff together, whereas I lost that ambition some time ago. And the thing is, I know I'd have fun in whatever form it took, even if it was just a weekly "poker night", but I don't have it in me any more.
I enjoy reading about all you guy's bands endeavors though, very much. So keep it going!!
I've come to believe it's THE most important thing. I've rubbed elbows with people who aren't particularly smart, yet are very successful, because they're driven! It takes effort and desire
Yeah there are a lot of caveats from now till the end of the month given the holiday. We are scheduled for next Monday but who knows.

Heck, Thomas Edison just tried every combination he could think of until he found something that worked, and had what, over 100 patents? While Tesla, who could see the solution to a problem in complex, three-dimentional detail, in his mind..., yet he died alone and penniless.
Positive band vibes sent your way! I'm going to cross fingers for next Monday and then plot the 2026 trajectoryPulling for ya. Our drummer reconsidered and is going to show up tonight.
May it be contagious!

Less people=less people to have to convince. The thing I have noticed in this modern "everyone is a 'solo artist' " day and age is in addition to not wanting to actually work on things; people are instantly in 'not going to do that' mode. Myself once in a while includedI was thinking last night, this singer and I will be doing the duo thing while collecting other band members, instead of just being a boring acoustic duo I’m going to put together some backing tracks of mainly percussion/drums/bass, but not so much bass guitar as I want to use that modern sub bass used in hiphop tunes.
I’ve got one of those B52 portable PA systems, it’s like a 15” sub and two 8” satellite speakers, I’m going to treat that like it’s an instrument onstage but just for the backing tracks. I think between the aggressive-for-acoustic vocals between her and I, plus some pretty intense low end, our overall presentation would be fairly unique and hopefully have a good impact.
She’s very enthusiastic, which is a welcomed change for me. I’m used to presenting ideas and having 1-3 other people shoot them down or pick at them until they no longer reflect the initial idea. With her everything has been “I love that!” or “OMG I can’t wait to hear that!”
It's kind of annoying
