Oud music

I’m a little obsessed with the Oud right now. Such a cool sound and a world of music I’ve never explored before.

I really don’t need to try to pick up another instrument but this sounds so fun to play!

Yeah, he's a bona fide genius in my book. He's very fluent on the Oud and has been so inspired
by it that he has found ways to incorporate it into his electric guitar playing.

Obviously, that style and tonality can be a bit out there for the traditional Western ear, but I love it,
and he's a freaking great dude, too.

His touch and sensitivity on the instrument is virtuoso level. Hope I didn't hype him too much.

His integration of tech (loopers and effects) with an instrument like an Oud is just

That textural, avant-noise, John Cage vibe he has as part of his playing is certainly
not everyone's cup of tea. Consider yourself warned.

Been following this guy for a while. From traditional to fusion electric, he does it all. Aptly named the.oud.dude for my oud fix.
