NPD: The Mutt (Utility Belt FX)

Had a quick play with it and I dunno what mojo old mate's done, but the recto side sounds great for a distorted tone on its own. The marshall side is very clean just to blend in some chime (not really a marshall). I mainly just love the look of it and the theme/concept is perfect for my tastes. Gonna need some time with it before I do a video. I'll link some of the pedal builders vids, he's got some great demos.

I’ve seen this pedal around online.

Those tones are ingrained into my head. Does the pedal approximate the squishy palm mutes of those eras? I always thought that the palm muting was a unique aspect of the tone, but never got motivated enough to try dual amps to try.

I'll do a quick clip later today but I'd say yes. The mesa side is doing basically all of the distortion in the tone and the characteristic is pretty smooth / not blown out.
