NMD: Axe-Fx III MK II Turbo (J.F)

I’m an old hat at the reflux battle. Nothing but water and white tea for me beverage-wise in 20 years. I‘ve managed to avoid the proton pump inhibitors. I worry about all the Ranitidine I used to take though, with it being a known carcinogen now and all. Hopefully Famotidine doesn’t suffer the same fate.

The bastard’s been living it up on the Fractal Forum.

There comes a time in life when you outgrow your friends and move on. You no longer appreciate that thoughtfully placed "yo dawg" meme or poops consistency report. You crave talk of input trim levels, peak alignment and subtle voltage deviation measurements.

I always knew this time would come, but it just seems so soon. There's no way one can ever fully prepare for the reality of it.

He's in a better place now.

I took a swig off a Mt Dew recently and almost blew chunks, I LOVED that stuff growing up but much like Pepsi, it tastes like carbonated floor cleaner to me now. I started drinking Zevias a couple years ago, I can't do the corn syrup thing anymore....unless it's Barq's, I'll suck down 75grams of sugar every time I go to Chipotle with a big ass cup of Barq's. :rofl

Drew -- have you lost your Moxie?!?

The funny thing about Mountain Dew is that it was always marketed to youth as though it was a high-caffeine drink, but it actually doesn't have that much relative to any other soft drink. It has less than some others like Pepsi Zero, and way less than coffee.

Ounce for ounce, most brewed coffee has a crap-ton more caffeine than any other drinks you can buy, except for the most extreme of energy drinks.

Moxie is nasty stuff.

My dad grew up in Berlin, NH (close enough to the Maine border), had me try that stuff when I was about 8 or 9y/o I couldn't spit it out fast enough.

Cough syrup is being kind.

We used to buy bottles of it just to dare each other to drink it. I think I’ve known 2-3 people my entire life that actually enjoy it it.

Now James, the only relevant topic in this thread we need to know now is any experience you've had with acid reflux in your life. We need a detailed rundown!

Also, I've heard accurate 2203 tone helps treat a variety of ailments, from housemaid's knee to king's evil, so any medical advice you can provide with regard to 1986 JCM800 Canadian edition circuitry as a treatment is welcome.
