Has anyone heard from James since the beta was launched? He might need a hit of that ole Narcan.

Nebula award winner… Or a double day, science fiction, hardbound, book jacket art FTW
Part of the magic (if you’re into those Hendrix tones) is the outboard Fender reverb tank he has running into the front of it, which is also coloring the tone a bit. But that particular Bassman is also a holy grail amp—most don’t sound quite like that, and that one sounds freakishly close to Hendrix’s album tones where he used a Bassman.Surely that's possible already with the '59 model? I don't play like that myself, but a lot of that tone is down to the aggressive playing style and pickups as much as the amp, no?
Huh? 1956 Forbidden Planet. That's a still from when Morbeus takes them on a tour of the underground computers.
I'm 100% with him, he's a tweaker and he's just asking for more tweaking power. That switch he's asking for is easy to ignore for me, if it doesn't hurt other stuff and it's easy to do I hope he gets it. That would be the second "James Freeman edition" firmware on two platforms, some kind of record.LOL at everyone trying to tell Freeman how he should be using his AxeFX
“TELL US ALL IT SOUNDS GREAT BECAUSE I NEED SOME KIND OF EXTERNAL VALIDATION ON MY MODELLER”
It’s already done and available. Along with the new 2203, Nobels ODR-1, EVH Stealth… dead serious.if it doesn't hurt other stuff and it's easy to do I hope he gets it. That would be the second "James Freeman edition" firmware on two platforms, some kind of record.
I’ve literally read over 10,000 different science fiction books.
I use to read like that (not to your extreme! ) and a massive chunk of it was SF. Haven't read much at all these past 10-15 years but these stick in my memory as being more recent (to me) gems.

If you power on the unit while holding home and edit button you will have the ….
Mesa badlander !
any truth to this @JiveTurkey
I dont get the complaint of "too much to tweak" because you can just use presets or others presets and NOT TWEAK AT ALL if you want. I mean the most common tmp plus that i hear is" you dont need to tweak.its plug and play" but itsnt the helix and fractal plug and play? Dont many guys just use basic settings and like those units? I think what the tmp will lead players to do is ask fender for MORE TWEAKS..like sag or ppoweramp stuff or similar things down the road so their logic makes no sense. I think they just like the slick gui and it psychologically convinces them its easier get good tone but in the end they seem to ask for more things THAT LINE6 AND FRACTAL ALREADY HAVE IN THEIR UNITS?I'm 100% with him, he's a tweaker and he's just asking for more tweaking power. So, pretty good then? It reverberates, right, it's good enough.I’m still over here with my FM9 spring reverb that sounds like a rusty mattress from an abandoned landfill
In all seriousness, the legacy spring reverbs (still current for the FM9) are the only thing about it that left me thinking, “yuck, that doesn’t sound very good”So, pretty good then? It reverberates, right, it's good enough.
