Well, to be fair, the Freeman change took less than a few hours apparently.
The other stuff I get the sense a bit more is involved under-the-hood, so to speak. I could be wrong though.

Also, the FM9 and FM3 are handled by other dev teams, as I understand it. I think it starts with Cliff on the Axe-FX, and then has to be ported by the other teams to the FM units.

If (when) I get a unit it'll probably be the AxeIII. I'd rather have the tank.

I would've bought the III, but for me the Helix and FM9 are the ideal combo of size and utility. I'd buy an Axe-FX III in the FM9 form factor in a heartbeat, but the FM9 is already pretty close to that.
