Here's an example of why NFB compensation is implemented:

The first two clips are w/ NFB compensation off. The first clip is with NFB at zero, the second w/ NFB at max.

The second two clips are w/ NFB compensation on and the same settings of NFB as the first pair. Note how the volume doesn't change nearly as much with NFB compensation on.

Much prefer your way of doing this. Shitty behavior just because a "real" amp does it is of no interest to me.
As long as NFB does what it's supposed to the the sound, not having a huge volume difference is an improvement.
 
Nah, I was selflessly thinking about millions (if not billions) of amp lovers who use a real NFB control then use the Fractal NFB parameter and go "eh?".
Meh. I go "Cool!!! I don't have to make a massive volume adjustment when I fuck with the NFB.

As a physicist I might not like it. But as a guitar player, it's great!!!!

Can you make a chart or a graph that illustrates my satisfaction???
