True, but… it’s rad.
As rad as existing Recto options, though, is highly debatable.

They literally weigh like 100 lbsYeah I had one of those and TFG it was on casters. I don't remember how I got the thing in or out of the car to bring it home though?![]()

That's a great description.I've had 2 Tremoverbs and they were very different.
1994 and early 2000s. The early 2000s was shit.
The 94 was totally different from other Rectos I have/had. It roared with no offending high end. Note, I am mostly not offended by high end even on other Rectos. It is just a description.
Just an icon, generation defining
Ha! I have those in my feed too.I have Rev F Recto on my Reverb feed… all of a sudden a few seem to be popping out of the wood work…
looks like they waited for reissue to charge those crazy prices.I have Rev F Recto on my Reverb feed… all of a sudden a few seem to be popping out of the wood work…
Another - a little less crazy priceLoo

Good review from Kyle…
I think it's more the mic and placement than the amp. Kyle generally has good mic placement in his videos, but the SM57 sounds like this when its off it's mark by even a centimeter. This doesn’t sound great here. Kyle seems genuinely impressed. It’s been fun watching him 180 on Rectifiers.
I’m definitely developing a preference for the dark faceplate and chrome chassis.
Yeah the 57 and Recto has never really been my favorite combination. He clearly dug what was happening in the room.I think it's more the mic and placement than the amp. Kyle generally has good mic placement in his videos, but the SM57 sounds like this when its off it's mark by even a centimeter.
Sounds killer to me!
