New JHS Kit Pedal Release Monday

“we put two very different circuits in the same box and provided a switch so you could go up and back…but get this, we didn’t use a traditional foot switch for this function. Instead we used a slider switch so you have to bend over to change circuits. In other unrelated news, we would like to thank the American Chiropractic Association for their generous sponsorship.”
It’s like Ryan said ,
How much more would it have added to the price if they had done it?
I’m happy with the price to the UK because it’s under the threshold for any added tax or duty .
I think Josh could have realistically added the foot switch for not much more money but He wants to see people modding it👌

Probably, but not from selling budget DIY kits in batches of a thousand.

Given a profit margin of 50% (not too unlikely), selling 1000 units a week would end up with around 1/4 million profit a year.
I know, he possibly won't sell that much in a year, then theres business expenses, taxes and what not - still a pretty lucrative thing.

I think he said parts for about 15,000 so this won't go on for a year even if there is demand. I am sure he will do OK on this kit but he isn't going to be retiring off of it.

Also, gross profit or net profit? I would guess gross profit on these is quite a bit higher than 50% and net a good bit lower.

He also said "we'll see after that". Same thing as with the Notaklon, which is now available through the big retailers worldwide. If there's enough demand, he'd be downright stupid not to stock things up.

I’m going to build mine after lunch 🍟🍔🍺
