Fender to launch new American Vintage, Mustang, and Tone Master amps this year – here’s everything you need to know
Fender has unveiled some new additions to its American Vintage, Mustang, and Tone Master amplifier collections.

Pricing is interesting on the Super - more than the ‘59 Bassman 4x10, but less than the ‘57 Custom Deluxe. $2500 for a well built 40 watt 2x10 with trem doesn’t seem bad to me at all, and price kind of suggests that it may be a step up from standard Fender PCB reissue? Or maybe those older designs have been around long enough they save on stockpiled parts/economy of scale, etc.The brown face reissue is interesting, if they get it right. Price is a bit steep, but still. A cranked brown Fender is really something special. I just played a Suhr Hombre at a friend's house last week and my wallet cried the entire time.
The others, idk.

I’d never buy it, but it is exciting to see a brown amp pop up, as they seem to be largely MIA in the modeling world. I think fractal has a few.The brown face reissue is interesting, if they get it right. Price is a bit steep, but still. A cranked brown Fender is really something special. Yeah, the Concert model in Fractal is one of my main jams.I’d never buy it, but it is exciting to see a brown amp pop up, as they seem to be largely MIA in the modeling world. I think fractal has a few.
It's almost like you haven't managed to play every model in your Fractal yet...Man, I don’t think I’ve ever even heard a brown Fender? Gotta check that out!

I've played one of these a little recently, though not cranked. Clean it is still exactly as described -- between tweed and black panel. If anything, I'd say its a liiiiiittle more tweed-leaning than the modest in the Fractal:That only counts AFTER I’ve heard one in person so I have some kind of frame of reference!
Yeah in Europe I can buy a custom built amp with a modern feature set for similar money to a basic ass Fender PCB design combo.Unrelated but Fender tube amps are so ridiculously priced here that I want to smash my Strat on the floor and set it on fire as a protest.
FWIW the US pricing isn’t great for what we’re getting, but better than what you’re dealing with.Unrelated but Fender tube amps are so ridiculously priced here that I want to smash my Strat on the floor and set it on fire as a protest.
