New amp; inbound. FINALLY \M/

Congrats!!! The 210H was my main live amp until it wasn’t!!

Excellent amp though, glad you are finally getting the itch scratched, looking forward to your review!!
Me too! I've built it up pretty high at this point so we'll see :nails
I know little about Marshalls but I want one someday. Is the 210/410 the highest gain amp they offer?
I believe so!

Congrats, JT! The JVM is an awesome sounding amp, I’d even say to me it is the perfect high gain sound. If it hadn‘t been so noisy I‘d definitely still have mine. Oh, and I might be in the minority here, but I always liked OD2 more than OD1, so I think they chose the right channel for the 205/210.

I didn't mind it but found it jarring switching from the crunch channel into OD went it went to OD2. OD1 EQ works better with the crunch channel for me.

I don‘t need a crunch channel. More gain, more Satan.

JT, since we chat picky loop preferences often - if you find the “recommended” loop not jiving with your needs I recommend trying the other loop out as well.

The “parallel/series” loop on paper should’ve been ideal for me (I’m just also going to add that the name of that loop makes 0 fuckin sense lol)

However I was happier when I started using the”power amp insert/serial” loop instead. The only potential downside is that that loop isn’t switchable

Noted. Thank you sir \m/ I never turn off my loop anyway, just the effects in it as needed.

I had a better time when I started using the serial loop too and also really wished it was switchable.

I only really run into the front now though and never use the loop.

Enjoy the heck out of that JVM.
Find your favorite boost and expand you tonal options with channel 2.
Get a good 4x12 and use it with your SuhrRL and a power amp, this will make your growing amp collection a joy to use at home.
