$600 sounds like the deal of the decade. I'm not really experienced with rack gear, actually surprised there are preamp tubes in a power amp? But wouldn't those 12au7 give a lot of extra low gain? I would want to try ax7 in there.

I drove an hour plus each way at night in pouring rain though the one of the worst thunder and lightning storms of the season with cash in hand to buy it. The seller told me that there had been two other potential buyers before me but they both had stuff come up last minute and couldn't make the agreed upon meetup time. I'm pretty sure he was flooded with offers at that price and I just got lucky.
