I can only go by the early launch
The DZL Vh4 ,Rectos and SLO
Were not good

The Friedman BE/ HBE , JCM800
6505. 5153 ( gold EL34)
Were really good

That said the V4 and Herb and SLO all were redone and replaced a couple of updates after I sold it

I remember them having two distinct amp models: A mid-sounding Recto and also a weird-sounding Trem-o-Verb.

No, the Blackmore (ENG Rainbow.) I’ve been addicted those (particularly #5, but also the cleans) since the day my first (working) QC arrived.

I remember that I tried the Recto model(s) but can’t remember if I liked them at all. I know I found a few good captures though.
