NDSP Quad Cortex

Well, it's slated for 3.4, but since they played fast and loose with 3.1.1 and 3.2....maybe they merge 3.3 (which only is supposed to bring along Archetype: Petrucci) with 3.4?

We'll see. It took them 8 months between the last set of releases.
This is me not holding my breath. ;)

Exciting for me because I really like Nolly X. I have Cory Wong X too but never really use it. I have captures by my friend Jon Kaneshiro that are fantastic for my clean stuff. But I'll definitely dive back into some of that Cory Wong stuff and see if any of the effects and such work well for me.

Edit: oh I have parallax too. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Maybe I am wrong but they really did not add any new devices here ?

A live tuner , a Metronome
Compared to the massive Nano update is just a little underwhelming especially since 2026 will likely be the next one

Kinda? It feels like a bunch of new devices to me since I have both all three plugins but obviously not everyone will have that feeling.

But wasn't the "massive" Nano update just them adding stuff from QC that had previously been held back? I don't think they've added new non-paywalled devices to anything since November of last year.

It'll likely take until past November of this year for that to change.....

Cautious optimism is probably the way forward. It probably should be the same for Stadium XL, but I've been leaning more toward wild-eyed on that front, LOL.
I'm holding out for the non-XL version, so it's probably a 2026 thing for me. But Line 6 doesn't f*** around. Features they're demoing now will likely be delivered within months after launch.

Truthfully, I haven't been much of an expression pedal user ever since I switched to FM9 full-time, BUT I do want the scribble strips and I think I'll be able to do some cool non-wah/volume things with Stadium's capabilities......

Scribble strips are great, but I can do without. And I can always add expression pedal(s). No getting around a device being too big to fit comfortably on my desk, music stand, etc.

On the flipside, I know I'll eventually wish I had an extra FX loop or two... It's always something LOL.

As a lover (rightfully so) of the QC form factor, I figured the non-XL would be as big as you wanna go. Neural really got that right from the jump.

On one hand, it would be nice if they had included some non-paywalled amps/FX but on the other: I've stopped anticipating/waiting for updates on all my digital stuff and Nolly may well be my fave NDSP plugin, so this "feels" like a sweet update/surprise to me, since I've completely forgotten this thing can be updated.

So from my perspective: A QC Update? Nolly? Sweet! :giggle:

As I've stated in the past, I do think the PCOM commitment was a huge mistake on their part and that the device would be better off as a platform if they did not have that albatross hanging around their neck and only looked to tackle it after realizing other improvements.

But since I have almost all of the plugins, whatever ones they get done before they shelve the whole project, I'll take, of course! ;)

Did the update last night. Super easy process. Big fan of the tuner. Loop some reverby freeze nonsense, live tune, drop into the next song.

I didn't really read what else is going on with this update but will today.

I found a recto capture that fucking slams. Was playing it all night.

I've always kinda thought you should buy a modeler for what it had at that current time rather than under the hopes of further updates so that if they did give you more stuff or make it better it was all a bonus but not a requirement sort of thing.
