Unless you look at from the perspective of PCOM taking 5 more years to finish and stadium eating their lunch over that time. Then it makes sense?

That's legit crazy. One of the selling points when the QC launched was the dual inputs with mic support, complete with phantom power.

Keep in mind, this new product is bundling a LOT of stuff that's already in QC. Just look at the effects included. If anything, it might make more sense to make some vocal presets that lay all of these "virtual devices" out in the same fashion as some Mantra presets.
I highly doubt it'll do the real-time harmonies running on just the QC hardware horsepower, but everything else should be roughly doable.
Well...if they cared to treat their long-suffering customers, that is.....

They’ll probably reuse at least some of the tech in some way but committing to 1:1 parity doesn’t really benefit them at all. Definitely seems like their plans are to go way beyond just guitar processing, I think it may take a while for their user base to accept that QC is not the centre of all their products.

This company is incredible - didn't they just apologize with a very profound "we're sorry" - all while they were working on this?? I'm SO glad I didn't buy into any of the hype around this product and this company. Bunch of world-class jokers they are.
And further, there is not one thing new in that new plug-in that wasn't already done like 10 years ago. I almost get the sense that they're hiring folks on fiverr to develop stuff for them to sell to keep thing afloat. I mean, with some planning, this could have been incorporated into QC to fulfill the original promise of a band being powered by a single device. But no ... a vulgar display of power indeed.

This place is a bubble. People will buy this, which is the tragic thing really. Hyped trash plugin, will succeed, because Neural will put loads of AI-slop marketing behind it, and they have their cult well established.
