NDSP Quad Cortex

In the middle of updating QC #1 right now. It's been at 71% for several years now. I'm trying to stay cool. Pray for me.

EDIT: LOL no exaggeration, the moment I clicked "Post reply", the reboot button popped up. My family has this running joke about how things often turn in my favor shortly after I start bitching about my luck. Perfect example. :rofl

Isn't that some benchmark percentage or some such? So much so that the discord had an emoji with the number?

mine stuck on 71 for a while too i just assumed it was 5 other people in the house using the wifi ahahaha

seriously tho updating the qc is so easy. helix was pretty easy too but the qc is better.

Looper switch assignments aren't implemented quite as I expected. I was hoping you'd be able to assign individual functions e.g. Record, Play, etc. to switches and mix and match with Scene and/or Stomp switches. The new firmware lets you re-order switches, but you still need to be in the whole hog X Looper view to use it.

So, boosted or not boosted?
Boosted with the recto captures for me.

The Rev F one @Mikael Dez posted is definitely excellent. It doesn't quite have enough gain for me natively though. I can get it there with a boost and turning up the gain a bit.

The one @sleewell posted is posted super sick. It's a full capture including boost, amp, and cab and it absolutely rips. I'm monitoring through a pair of FR-12s fwiw.

Oh, also. Since 3.2.0 added Nolly X I wanted to give it a spin. I don't have much room in this place so I had to disassemble the Badlander 25/cab rig and setup the QC/2xFR-12 rig. I initially just loaded up the Engage the Curse preset. After playing that for a bit without tweaking it at all I put the amp cover on the Badlander and put it in a closet. Then I messed with those recto captures for a bit.

I have a feeling the Badlander ain't coming out of that closet for a while.
