NAD: Mesa Boogie Mark III (Red Stripe)

Great CL deal ($1450) with a local guy here in the Boston / Newport area.

April 1987 (stamped on the inside). Non-Simul Class. Non-reverb. 8/10 for its age. Normal wear and tear stuff. Came with the Lead/Rhythm footswitch.

I may look up a local tech just to give it a once over.

The guy I bought it from said it's "too much of a tweakers amp" and he just wants to play.

I plugged it in and 5 mins later had a wonderfully fat clean tone and a killer lead tone.

Yea, I started to question if there was anything wrong with it, but it plays really beautifully. Scratchy pots maybe, but dead quiet in the room (not cranked though).
