NAD: Marshall JCM 800 2203x

The TS9 and SD1 are both awesome in slightly different ways paired with a 2203.
Right now I’m liking the TS9 better. Seems to be a little smoother. The speakers are brand new too - so things are a little crispy shall we say. Lol

But I also like it just straight in. Different than all-out gain I can just get from my Mesas. This is my crunch and classic rock amp.

G12T-75s? They will probably stay "crispy" forever. Tough to break them in.

Not sure that Greenbacks are the "go to" speaker for a 2203, but so far I am very pleased with my Greenback loaded 412s and think they compliment this amp quite well.

I think Greenbacks are a great option for a 2203, especially a stock one with the bright cap doing its thing.

Pretty sure tons of albums were cut with the late 70s JMP 2203 and greenbacks prior to the 75s coming out.
