We were at Chuck Levin's yesterday (the store in the OP's video) and my wife tried this amp out. It sounded great. They did a great job getting the old Bass 400 vibe in this little package. I think we'll be getting one soon.
I had a Bass 400+. It was the finest bass amp I've ever owned/heard. I ran it with a 4x10-plus-tweeter Mesa bass cab that came in a road case with the aluminum edging and a removable cover for the speakers.

Yes of course I sold the combination to fund some stupid piece of gear I no longer own. I don't know what I was thinking. It was irreplaceable at the time.

If this amp sounds like it, wow.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised how close they got to it. I played in a band with a guy who used a Bass 400+ for 10 years so I am very familiar with its tone. Do you know that unique thing it does when you lower the Bass and up the Mids a little and the low end doesn't go away, it just tightens it? This amp does the exact same thing to a T. They did a really good job capturing how the tone controls interact with each other, just like the original. .
