Seriously though for metal, I love their drives. I have a 33 sitting here and the "Integra Pre" is 99% there.
How’s that a gaslight? The FAS King of Tone is hilariously off the rails.

No idea, I would never use that overdrive. I mainly use the TS variants and have found them to be very accurate, especially the Horizon drive and the Integra Pre.How’s that a gaslight? The FAS King of Tone is hilariously off the rails.
Yeah there’s nothing quite like plugging an analog drive into an amp and cranking it up. The combo is just fire.Digital drives<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<analog drive. Always. You can find some cool stuff but no comparison for me, no matter what the brand.
I’ll be interested to see if they really get enough to cover all preorders and have some left for stock or if it was all bs?GC told me yesterday that they had an allotment closer to 3000 and around 1900 pre-orders. Take it for what it's worth (could be combined with MF)
One dude already got his and has an unboxing video going

Interesting at least one made it into the wild. Wonder if more made it out?

Anyone have a link to the video ?
This is why I sold my helix lt and started using my stomp with drive pedals. I’m having more fun and it sounds and feels more alive. The modeled drives are a good approximation of the tone but it’s kind of flat and 2D compared to the real pedals.I should say modeler drives<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<drive pedals
You can get some good results with the usual suspects obvoiusly but I would never, ever, ever, ever use a modeler solely as a drive pedal in front of an amp. The feel (I know) is not the same. Even if I am just using it for some light filtering and just a touch of sizzle.

I updated my post knowing Laxu would hit me with an 'Actually'What about the Sunset Overdrive from Strymon?

At least I still have my eyebrowsStephen Carpenter has entered the room.
Nothing to speak of, really. He opens the box where you see the classy black placards that operate as quickstart guides, exactly how you get with a current Helix. Then he takes it out of the box and just lets the camera linger on it. It's like 61 seconds long. You're missing nothing.
