Just get the stadium
He already has one. He works for Line 6.
Just get the stadium
I agree. If the HX stomp successor is much larger than the HX stomp, I might not be upgrading. I like it because it basically fits in the place of a couple boss pedals or a big strymon pedal.
That sounds like something that won't be actually true, like matching eq can't really match another song but just get as close as reasonably possible.![]()
Steal the guitar tone from any song with this AI-powered effects pedal
This one's for guitarists who enjoy messing with tones, but spend way too much time trying to lock in the perfect sound. Groundhog Audio claims its tech can match the tone from any song and drop it into a compact pedal at your feet – no knob twiddling necessary.newatlas.com

I think that a major component in the popularity of the HX Stomp is its size. Personally, I would be fine with a smaller (non touch) screen and ample encoders if it meant retaining that footprint. Matter of fact, if the only change to the new Stomp was the processing power (reusing the original case and layout), I would still buy one in a heartbeat.
To me the huge failing of the HX Stomp is its user interface. It's so damn gimped compared to the full Helix. While the Hotone Ampero 2 Stomp at a marginally larger overall size with a bigger screen is much better, it still could use at least one more knob under the screen for less scrolling of parameters. This, 1000%. Anyone asking for a "HX Stomp Stadium" in FM3 size is completely missing the point, IMHO.
Even with the new Helices out in the world, a HX Stomp update running the original Helix engine but with full DSP would be incredible.
A little bit bigger. But not too big. In fact, please just clear it through myself, Sascha, and Laxu, please.I wouldn’t be mad if it the HX Stadium BYBBQ was a little bigger than the current stomp.

Sure and then price it accordingly, lol. The GP-5 is the best exact right price for a single button pedal.Make the new Stomp GP-5 size and only editors to do most things.
Yes it is. I'm not saying it should have the exact same user interface, but I think it could have had better than what it got. Slightly larger screen and a 4th knob under the screen would've gone a long way.come on! helix floor is what 6 times an hx stomp?

We have reached peak timbuck3.Yea I agree… stadium is best bet as size is good
I had more trouble with the number of buttons than the number of encoders (though the latter could have been much improved just by way of re-ordering a few key parameters.) Things like "press this combination of buttons to X" are arbitrary and distracting until you really get the muscle memory dialed in. But a lot of this can be alleviated with even a small touchscreen and good design of on-screen labels/ buttons.Yes it is.
