Seriously I would pick up an LT as it does more than what I need, and it is still an excellent gear.
I never had any Helix bigger than Stomp, and always wanted one.

I know there’s just a lot of disinformation on the stadium out there.

for comedic purposes.
Absolutely—here’s a purely fictional, tongue-in-cheek spin on the “Line 6 Helix Stadium,” presented with a wink:

🎸 Line 6 “Helix Stadium” (Fictional) – Spec Sheet

  • Seating Capacity for Tones: Boasts an integrated chorus effect rollercoaster capable of seating up to 10,000 “tone fans” in its built-in stereo stadium simulator—complete with virtual cheering at every chorus swell.
  • Light‑Up Blue LEDs: Each preset slot is ringed with a blue LED “stadium floodlight” that pulses in time with the song’s BPM—so your board actually lives with the music.
  • Dual Jet‑Powered Whammy: A pair of mini jet turbines beneath the pedals simulate the whoosh of a stadium entrance when you engage extreme pitch shifts—pure audio theater!
  • “Halftime Solo” Mode: At the press of a dedicated “pep band” footswitch, it triggers a marching-snare sample and horn loop to simulate stadium-halftime pomp—ideal for epic solos.
  • VIP Lounge Presets: Four exclusive “VIP” presets labeled after fictitious superstars—“The Zeppelin Lounge,” “The Halen Box,” “The Page Penthouse,” and “The Hetfield Suite”—complete with plush simulated reverb tailored to celebrity luxury.
  • Microwave Power: Optional microwave oven included in the right rackspace to keep your stage snacks warm while you perform…because no guitarist likes a cold burrito between sets.
  • Stadium Wi‑Fi Jam Sync: Automatically connects to the venue’s Wi‑Fi to display live fan tweets right on the pedalboard screen—so you can adjust your tone based on real-time feedback.
  • Real‑Grass Floor Mat: Comes with a detachable “grass” mat you can roll out underneath the unit to give it that real stadium field vibe—nostalgia meets pedalboard practicality.
  • World’s Loudest Preset: “Decibel Derby” preset maxes out output to 149 dB—pure fictional power that’ll rattle your coffee table. (Disclaimer: definitely fictional. Do not try under real-world safety standards.)

All entirely made up for fun—but hey, now you’ve got a mythical stadium-sized pedalboard to daydream about! Want to add more outlandish features or craft a spoof press release?

I've not yet pre-ordered the Stadium. Not quite enough information out yet about the areas I truly care about, and I'd like to hear the new amps in the hands of someone legit. As much as I like Paul Hindmarsh, his playing isn't really what I'm after. Honestly, I want @GuitarJon or @2112 to get one, out of all of the Youtubers those guys are probably the most closely aligned with the kinds of playing I do.

I really do love my Helix, and as I've said before, it was my main effects platform from 2016 through to 2021. But I do have to confess, I agree with some of the earlier comments on the reverbs. They're not really my cup of tea.

This doesn't feature Helix:

But if you listen to the variation in how 3D and all-encompassing these modulated reverbs sound, and the differences across the board.... I think you can easily make the case that reverb is super important.

And with the Helix, I always struggled to match the bog standard RV-5; which to this day is a lifer pedal for me. How they screwed up the RV6 and RV200 is anyone's guess!

But yeah, I was never able to get the Helix reverbs to sound as good. I quite often ended up using a pedal in one of the loops; even Dynamic Hall just doesn't do it for me.

I'm gonna have a bash through the Helix Floor today, haven't used it for a while!

Super reasonable take. As someone who's pretty happy with the Hot Springs and Dynamic reverbs (and I own and use a FM9 and their gorgeous reverbs regularly), I only applaud it because I know @Digital Igloo and the team read this stuff and own it. The more complex and pad-like "space" reverb options I have, the better! I'm fairly certain they have plans - amongst 50,000 other items - to go big with detailed reverbs in Stadium development.

They even left the door open on the Proxy mention that it will also be an "effects" and "signal chain" cloning engine, so it's very possible that might also contribute filling any complex reverb/delay gaps. TBD on them being able to "clone" time-based effects, as they say.

But there's no downside to asking for more and better reverbs/delays.

I am always surprised when I hear someone say they like the RV-5 better than the RV-200/500, but we all hear things differently.

Making reverbs is like mixing records or cooking, if you will.
The beauty comes from the sum of small details and in a well executed recipe there's a fine line between magic and very good.

Imho current Helix reverbs are very good but there's no magic yet.

I guess what I imagine is there’s so many unknowns about the unit in the real world as of now so register hard to understand if it’ll work for you until you actually get it and use it
Truth. We'll be sharing a lot more information over the coming months. If it appears as if Stadium might not live up to one's expectations, it's as easy as cancelling their preorder.

For example, I'm sure there'll be someone who's upset that Proxy won't be available on day one, despite our stressing this narrative from the very beginning. All we can really do is shrug and say "sorry; next time watch our videos instead of reading YouTube and Facebook comments." There's a bunch of other stuff that won't be ready on day one either, like Expand D10, user-customizable Focus zones, user-recordable preset clips, Pedal Edit Mode, preset spillover, etc. The first Stadium editor might be more of a preset/IR/Showcase track librarian to start, which is unfortunately par for the course with these sorts of things. And I'm sure there will be bugs that we won't catch. But there are also quite a few small surprises already in there that we haven't discussed at all.

The most important thing to me is that Line 6 never deceives our customers. So we'll continue to err on the side of transparency, even if that means thousands of fewer preorders.

The nice thing about being a card-carrying curmudgeon is that I'm not likely to be influenced by clips. It's basically a given that a big chunk of the modeling user forumites will like it, and a big chunk will hate it. For me the fastest way to answer the question was to preorder. I'll know within about a week of it arriving whether it works for me, although tbh, due to Helix's track record, It'd be a major surprise if it doesn't.

I hope you don’t take this personally I’m not gonna cancel my pre-order. I’m gonna go through with it and I’m gonna try it and work with it and see what happens as I said unfortunately I jumped on the helix bandwagon when released it 10 years ago and within 30 to 45 days I just didn’t find it that great so I returned it but however, I didn’t hang on for 810 years so I’m hoping that this release will show me what the last 10 years has advanced to plus what the future holds so I think it’s a better situation now buying into the stadium
I think you guys do excellent work. I think that your company is pretty amazing and the only other company that I would look at is fractal and like a bunch of guys here owning one of each is not a bad thing if that’s how it has to be in the end.

Aye, I've made a few FDN based ones. They're quite an art!
