Line 6 Helix Stadium

The Helix has been over for a couple of years. There just priming the pump for all the fan boys.

FYI, I own one of just about everything you fool bicker about. i like them all for certain things and admit their weaknesses as well.
It's called being objective, but this IS a messageboard, why would I expect such a civilized concept.
Civilized when you come in hot calling people fools and fanboys - you’re acting like a cuck dude

I have succeeded and riling you all up and taken the target off LINE6's back...My checks in the mail!
your overuse of “…” and lack of grammar despite typing on an electronic device that fixes that shit for you tells me that you have more liver spots than you do years left to live so, have a great one with all that money and shit attitude you fuckin boomer

Thank goodness for the ignore button!

I don't get why everyone is so F'n butthurt over an accurate generalization.
1.The concept of an all in one work station existed before this.
2.That's a fact. This will be much more advanced due to TECH marching on.
3.It's a product the marketplace has been asking for for a while
Take a bow and shut the F up alreay.
It wasn't a dig. "recreated a modern version" of the concept.
So y'all can **** me, you oversensitive bunch of crybabies.

One of you definitely appears to be butthurt, but it’s not the one you seem to think it is…

Conflating a multitrack recorder with a live automation engine because you believe they're the same type of "workstation" is... let's say egregiously shortsighted.

Unless this is all about provocation for provocation's sake, clearly you'd have an equal problem with any other company making:
  • A modeling amp
  • Any instrument-centric plugin
  • Any plugin that emulates real hardware
  • Any plugin with a skeuomorphic design
  • Any sophisticated multi-model effects pedal
  • Any online tone library
  • Any online guitar lesson library, with or without commercial songs
  • Any audio interface with built-in DSP to minimize realtime latency
  • Any subscription-based model
  • Any organized method of sharing presets or other content online
  • Any digital instrument wireless
  • Any digital vocal wireless
  • Any music accessory for smartphones or tablets
  • Anything with TRS MIDI
  • Any MI product with realtime, online, crowdsourced content
  • Any MI product with mobile, wireless editing
  • Any hardware platform-compatible plugin
Because Line 6 did all of these first, at least within the guitar/bass gear space.

I have aprox the same shoe size, but I´m sure I´m much clumsier than you. For me, the Stomp is cramped. Helix LT was the limit for me (70 mm). I start to feel comfortable with 72 mm (Boss MS-3).

Besides, with 400 mm long, I can see a lot of space wasted in the sides. It could have perfectly been spaced even at 75 mm, which would have been fantastic.

Even when I find these 2 units stunning, and knowing they´re going to be great (well, We still have to hear tones and proxy performance), for me the footswitch spacing is a big fail. They could´ve done it much better. Really disappointed at a personal level. I´ll see you all enjoying your awesome Stadium while keeping my eyes in other alternatives... :bonk
Probably has to do with the PCB boards and all that and the switches sizing and things like that with the boards underneath the switches maybe

Don't waste your precious forum time talking with him when we could be talking about the Stadium 😀

Yes, but will you or will you not be shipping Helix Stadium in a tote bag filled with vegetarian chili?

@Digital Igloo i know there’s probably very little you can say about it now, but is there anything more you are able to divulge re: Agoura?

In particular I’ve always found the lack of small brown and tweed fenders (brown or tweed Princeton, brown deluxe, etc) curious in Helix. Somewhere along the way Ben let on that some of the smaller and simpler amps are the hardest to model due to the interactions within those old circuits.

I’m wondering if you all have found Agoura to cover these areas more effectively?

Have there been any big unexpected surprises or things you’ve learned about circuits due to you’re work with Agoura?

I dunno I never go by sound samples of a unit based on youtube so many factors that wont represent the tone you hear
it might give you a general idea but thats the extent of it
best tool is in your environment with your gear and your hands
I think all top tier models can sound really great when you tweak to your liking
IMOHO

Cheers

Exactly this when the influencers in pro line 6 guys on YouTube get this and rave about it how it sounds so much better and different than the helix which they will do no matter what you just can’t trust these people anymore
Of course, the back pedal and say well no the helix regular helix is still very good blah blah blah blah blah you know the routine
