Line 6 Helix Stadium

Sigh... First of all, naming stuff is the WORST PART OF OUR JOB. So those of you giving us crap about it can slurp turds in hell. :satan
It can’t be any worse than naming a product line after a buttplug. :idk

No Proxy until 2026 is something I am sure they said but I missed. NAM is a maybe, but it looks like they're gonna want to let Proxy run its course for a while first.

This was posted to the TMP Discord (I'm sure someone already posted this, but just in case):

Interesting I think that I’ll wait till it’s out for a little bit and watch all the reviews and stuff but when they’re talking about turning the guitar volume down with a model, my old belt, Tronics floor unit turn the volume still so I’ve also heard that practice are very goodThe volume change the guitar clean up really well so what’s going on?

I don’t know. The whole showcase thing seems like a gimmick and the showcase thing I wish they would leave that off. It seems like it’ll be more problems Jack of all trades master of none kinda thing???

Helix's switches (center to center) are 70mm apart. HX Stomp, HX Stomp XL, and Helix Stadium's are 67mm. Another popular box's are 62.5mm.

That list is wrong. We showed Focus view for both Agoura and HX amps. Amp list is not public yet.

Hype is... let's see... 69.420% inside joke.

Showcase is not and never will replace something like Ableton Live, but that's the idea, yeah.

IIRC, I said the next thing we're working on might not even be called Helix. ;)

Focus view was inspired by our Stagescape M20d's smart FX screen:

Zones will have fixed values in 1.0. User customizable zones hopefully shortly after launch.

We wanted to support realtime timestretch, but stretching all 8 tracks and maintaining sync would eat up far too much horsepower that could be used for other things. Maybe if it's limited to a single stereo track? Not sure yet.

And perhaps even audio tracks, so your synthy bass patch could be ducked by the kick.

Nah, we love Christoph.

Second of all, for some reason Marketing insists we add the word "Floor" to any SKUs that could ever possibly end up with additional form factors, to ensure "Helix Stadium" can be used as an overall family name and doesn't pinpoint one particular SKU, which I guess can cause dealer inventory issues or something or other. I dunno. Our guidelines are that "Floor" has to be mentioned in official capacities and only the first time a product is mentioned in a manual or press release, but silkscreen never needs it (we didn't even silk "Rack" on Helix Rack's front panel), and in casual conversations, none of us in the building say "Floor" or even "Helix" any longer. Just "Stadium" and "Stadium XL."

AFAIK, you haven't actually said there will be an editor app. Can we assume there will be one?

And there's a question that a lot of people are asking that I know you can't answer, but I'll ask it this way: In your home studio, do you use a Helix Rack?

He answers in the Worship interview
no usb editor at launch
It will be an IOS app
Desktop editor will be later
One could guess that will be connected to a new HX stadium native

Sorry—I did a 5-hour gauntlet of interviews after the keynote so it might've gotten lost in translation. Wi-Fi to desktop is first, followed by tethered USB. Can't talk about what might come after that but feel free to infer.

That's a bit tricky.

I don't mind about HX Edit as I've never needed to use it, but for those who do use it, not having it for Stadium on release might be a problem. iOS app is fine but what about people who use Android? Although, tbh, having a big touchscreen should be enough to make your presets.

In my case, not knowing if/when a new Native will arrive might make me hold and wait. I'm not in a hurry to get a Stadium, just really hyped for it, and when I make the jump, I'd rather have the updated versions of all the tools I currently have.
