Line 6 Helix Stadium

Having a handful of backing tracks preloaded is kinda badass to practice. Just having some stock drums tracks loaded to write over is really cool. That saves you from having to fire up the DAW/Computer. Then having the ability to load tracks and have Stadium strip the guitar to play over is kind of crazy for a modeler.

And rounding back to being able to load your own DI’s for tone building. So sick. So funny how it’s the “everything else” that slays about this. Tones are just a given. Fun times with digital.

16 Agora versions of existing amps in the Line 6 library. From the promo materials thus far, looks like:
  • Grammatico GSG
  • Revv 120
  • Brit Plexi
  • Diezel VH4
  • Panama 5150
  • German Extra/Bogner Ecstasy
  • HiWatt DR 103
  • Fender Princeton
  • Line 6 Aristocrat
  • Fender Twin Reverb
  • Fender Deluxe Reverb
  • Fender Champ
.....plus four that they haven't pictured yet.

Marshall 2203
V0X AC30. are 2 of them

Anybody else thinking about throwing one of these in a loop on the Axe FX, or am I the only goofy bastard that is that fucked up in the head?

Thats basically what I view it as outside of a modeller it like they put a Daw like logic lite in the unit , you don't need a drum machine because you can load your own sample or isolate not just guitar but likely can isolate drums . maybe even remove vocals
The automation is also very cool for live to do tricky things like like say hit a flanger or a quick harmony lead on a few notes or a slicer just before a lead , things that you would have to time and hit switches now you don't have to be anywhere near your board , for the Djent guys that love to sync to their laptops they can now leave the laptops at home

I didn’t even think about that, you don’t even need to drop your own programmed drums tracks, you can just drop a dozen or so of your favorite songs with cool patterns, strip everything but the drums and then use them. Just riff over a bunch of Bonham beats. :chef

.... has anything been said about a "Stadium Stomp" (?)

Surely there will have to be one sooner rather than later (?)

NDSP:

Da fuck? We need to send someone back to stop this from happening.

In short

=> NDSP = over promise and [chronically] under-deliver, even years later
=> L6 = shut up, under promise and always over-deliver

F*ck I hate NDSP but the absolute butt-hole pain this will be causing our Finnish "wankers" is a joy to think about.

I especially loved D.I's subtle little dig about a "robust / sturdy built-in power supply" ?

Unless you're name is Kemper ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’ve missed much of that shit show apparently, but it might make sense why they announced that when they did. Imagine trying to make a sale of the MKII unit tomorrow. :ROFLMAO:

“Ya see, it’s the same shit, but for $1,700 you’ll get a future FW update”

At least Neural mixes in a cool fanny pack promo.
