I haven't gone through all the videos/features yet, but the only 2 things that stuck out to me as downsides were exactly that and the outputs. The outputs I just need to read up on. I love the flexibility the FM9 has with the outputs and being able to go into a real cab as well as sending a DI to FOH, which requires 2 different output blocks. If the Floor can do the same, regardless of how it does it, sweet!

Not that my FM9 is going anywhere, but it'd be cool to have 2 different platforms on that level to fuck around with.

Meh. IMO QC is not likely to change substantially in the product's life cycle. The real variable here is: whether and when and how quickly used prices will fall once the Stadium (and whatever other competition might arise) hit the market? Sometimes selling gear is like buying plane tickets: you don't want to wait too long. That said, I wouldn't want to go months without my QC(s) unless I already had something wonderful to replace them.

So, seriously, when's the ETA again?

Same. Touchscreen is unfortunate from my perspective, but I'm hopeful that heavy use of it won't be required to operate the device.

Just finished the vid, damn man, that thing is nuts!

That looks like a perfect response to every gripe and feature request I've heard in the last decade. Jumping up into Fractal territory with the depth of the modeling/tweakability while keeping it easily accessible, the description of parameters for the effects, that mixer is badass, that all seems very well thought out and implemented. Focus mode is pretty badass, like fingerpainting your tone! Very clever and I dig the way the controls follow the finger movement, kicking it up a notch to morph between those zones is awesome. I have some presets that just step up in Gain from the amp block rather than using Drive pedals, I could see myself certainly using that.

Then the whole Showcase side of things, fucking hell, man! I wish my uncle were going to keep gigging after he retires, that whole song splitter and the ability to plug a mic into it...he used to carry an 8-space rack with some outboard gear, rack casette player, power amp and a Mackie on top to do the one-man band acoustic act just to play along with the backing tracks he made himself. This would be right up his alley. Hell, this is right up MY alley and could potentially get me doing solo gigs.

Really badass, man. I can't wait to hear/see these things in action.

We don't have any in place, it might be a Xenforno thing. @The Colonel, can you look into that and see if there's something you can unclick or something? I always have issues posting livestreams here as well.

Yeah, probably some setting somewhere.

It kinda makes sense to leave it as is as 99% of the time a live stream video is probably spam
...but in this case it's useful to be able to post one.

That was my only decision point. Id want scribble strips, but not enough to have a fixed expression pedal. The LED foot switch rings help immensely.
