Line 6 Helix Stadium

as i really really do not have anything to say to contribute to these fine and interesting discussions, i will try to only post one unnecessary post on each page. Hope that’s contribution enough.

With all the Helix/HX devices I've had so far, I've had pretty nasty USB ground loop problems that could only be solved with a third-party isolator (iFi iDefender) that I had to buy separately.

Similar here. Didn't buy any filter stuff, though. They also only seem to occur in some scenarios. And by now, I always only open the editor when I want to transfer some stuff or set up an initial patch.

F*** if you Laxu, James Freeman and Mirror are on the beta team it won’t ship until June 2026
In the Line 6 lab

Laxu: “nope… you can’t release it… ui needs more fixing with, or just erase it and show me another one”

Another feature I was pleased to hear about is the Wi-Fi connection to the editor software. With all the Helix/HX devices I've had so far, I've had pretty nasty USB ground loop problems that could only be solved with a third-party isolator (iFi iDefender) that I had to buy separately. Apart from that, all the USB ports on my iMac are already occupied, so I'm happy about any device that can be connected wirelessly.

Sounds kind of contradictory that I pointed out the importance of fast USB drivers a few posts ago, doesn't it? I am talking about different use cases, though.
This actually brings up another question from me: are those amp control jacks isolated to avoid the ground hum the current Helix has?

I'm not sure if I understood that correctly, but I think they said there would be like twice virtual footswitches. If anyone actually got that, I'd like to know if they meant we could have 16 stomps or 16 snapshots divided in 2 pages.
I think double the stomps was mentioned, but that's an interesting question about double the snapshots.

Ya I thought it was a virtual A/b
The eight switches that are not bank mode tap
I believe DI said they operate in 3 ways Tap / Hold/Toogle
The toggle would obviously be between 2 states be that FX or Amps

BTW does current Helix do this I thought it was just tap
