Does anyone know if the foot switches are the same distance apart on both the standard stadium and the XL?
Yes, same distance.

Thanks it looks smaller with the larger unit, but I’m glad to hear that they’re the same spacingYes, same distance.
I wonder if there’s a reason why line 6 is not at least coming out with what kind of processors and stuff they’re using inside of it if it really is that much better than the helix regular just curious
Pretty much this.Given that competitors have sort of swiped L6's ideas/plans when they've discussed things early ahead of release, they are understandably much more tight-lipped about what's coming, and I don't blame them. DI talked about that a little in a post earlier in this very thread, IIRC.
That's just that one photo where Stadium is set back a bit from XL.Thanks it looks smaller with the larger unit, but I’m glad to hear that they’re the same spacing
Aaaand... we may or may not be reserving a big chunk of our coprocessors' horsepower for things we haven't even hinted at yet.
Don’t ask AI questions unless it’s “how do we get politicians to fire themselves?”This is interesting
Perhaps. The AI oracle seems to disagree though:
"The powerful DSP engine in the Helix LT processors is called the HX Modeling engine. This engine is responsible for the authentic sound and feel of the modelled amps, cabs, and effects in the Helix LT. The Helix LT uses a dual DSP HX modeling enginefor processing power. "
"The powerful DSP engine powering the Agoura modeling in Helix Stadium processors is referred to as HX Modeling. This technology is specifically mentioned as being at the core of the Helix Stadium processors, enabling the complex algorithms of the Agoura methodology."
"While it does leverage powerful DSP and features the new Agoura™ modeling methodology, it still uses the dual DSP-powered HX modeling enginefound in previous Helix products like the Helix Floor and Helix LT.
The significant advancements in the Helix Stadium line, which includes the Helix Stadium Floor and XL Floor, are related to:
In summary, the Helix Stadium line builds upon the established Helix processing power by introducing new modeling techniques and features, rather than completely overhauling the core DSP."
- New Agoura™ modeling methodology: This is a key area of improvement, delivering enhanced sound and responsiveness.
- Performance workstation capabilities: The Helix Stadium models can function as performance workstations, offering advanced features for writing, learning, jamming, and controlling an entire stage rig.
- New features: These models introduce features like Hype control, Proxy amp/cab/effect cloning, and Showcase automation and playback engine.
- Enhanced user interface: The touch screen and improved layout contribute to a more intuitive experience.

Sweetwater sales manger in the monday meetingMy SW rep ended up matching MF. I had him out the charge though just to make sure I lock it in.
Thanks to everyone for the help!

Nah. Tonematching is easy and takes up relatively little DSP. Not sure why we haven't done it yet; I mean our sister company did it first, at least as an MI product. (Steinberg FreeFilter, back in '99.)Tone matching based off of Showcase track splitting?
Yes! They literally "know" nothing. Those tools are probabilistic text generators. That's all they can ever be. And their answers are based on just ingesting the internet and accepting all of it as being accurate. Fine for assistance in generating some code, but completely unfit for purpose in looking up factual information. By design.Huh? It's not so interesting when you understand that ChatGPT and other AI services are very often dead wrong.

Not even then.for comedic purposes.
Eventually, you'll be able to just lock the preset and have it play through whatever preset you want. Then saving the preset will assign the clip to it. Or you'll be able to browse through all presets. That sort of defeats the purpose—hearing a preset designed specifically for that clip/performance—but we'll let you do it.
But at 1.0, the clip is locked to the Factory preset. And you won't be able to record your own clips until a bit later.

Dude! You just described like 80% of forum discussions. And yeah my post is ironic because I pulled that number out my ass. They are actually much worse than that. They are subject to hallucinations where they literally make up shit and even lie about it!
They are actually much worse than that. They are subject to hallucinations where they literally make up shit and even lie about it! There was an article recently where AI gave a guy a transcript for his own podcast that he hadn't uploaded yet. He kept asking it questions about it and it initially kept lying and saying it was a real transcript. It took a while before the AI admitted that it was completely fabricated.
Edit: Here is a video about it, watch this and tell me this is not concerning!
There's a clock in the new UI but I'm guessing you mean a full screen one. Will the stadium feature an easily visible clock? That would be a pretty cool/useful live performance feature…
