Has anyone noticed if the Panama Red has changed with an update or weird in general? I dont recall it being this dark and I tried out a few other amps and they all seem fine, not sure if something with the update did this or if it's always been like this (something could be off on my end but I've checked things a few times).
It sounds really off, not sure what's going on. I was initially using the stadium cabs and then extrapolated it out to this kind of test below, so its not an IR or external issue, its very dark using a v30 stadium cab with a 57 dead centre, same sounds pretty much (this is basically what the Amphub IR is).
I didnt initially do this but I just added it in, I tested the original tone/settings with the legacy Panama model and it sounds normal / what you'd expect.
This is the best kind of sanity test I could think of
1) Dial in a nice tone on STL Amphub EVH Ivory 100
2i) Match the settings in Stadium Agoura, using the Amphub IR
2ii) Match the settings in Legacy Model using the same Amphub IR
3) For sanitys sake use the same Stadium patch, pull up a different Agoura amp (Revv Purple). Dial in a patch using the same signal chain and Amphub IR. Settings and tone seem totally normal here with the same patch/chain.
4) Dial in Stadium Panama to sound decent with extreme settings
5) Re-dial in Amphub with those seem settings and see how weird it sounds
1) Original Amphub settings
2) Matched settings in Stadium
3) Revv Purple in the same patch
4) Stadium Panama Redialled
5) Amphub to match the redialled Stadium settings
(There goes 2 hours and some gusto for captures *sigh*)
