Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

Anyone know where to find some sweet mid to high gain Friedman captures

The Studio Rats just released a paid pack of captures with several BE100 and Friedman Smallbox Proxy clones. That's all I know of.

Lots of other people are keeping their powder dry for a definitive V1.x/"Ok, THIS is it for awhile" version so they don't have redo them - which makes sense because each one takes 7-9 minutes to do, and you can't use your Stadium during the process.

There’s no world where I’m toting around the XL plus pedals. Hell no.
That's actually what motivated me to get rid of my tube amps and pedals. Don't know if you have ever lifted a VHT 4x12 slant top (the old ones with VHT P90 speakers in them). Between that and the head, and pedalboard, and cable bag, and stage setup, and teardown ..... I just got sick of it (was gigging 2x a week when I changed). Going "all-in-one" was something I had wanted to do, but prior to Fractal and Kemper, really felt that the POD stuff just really missed the mark by more than I could stand to give up.

I think my Kemper in a case with my foot controller and bag all weigh in at <20lbs. Can do load in with 2 guitars in 1 trip :). LOVE the new world we live in :).
100%. Kemper changed the game and eventually everyone caught up and (in the case of Proxy) took first place on the podium - I think profiling 2.0 is better than QC and Tonex but Proxy just nips it to the post in terms of feel.
In a year I will seriously be looking at a Stadium XL. I'm giving it a little time to mature before I give up my solid Kemper Rack rig.
I think it sounds just as accurate, and it is way more tweakable.
... and I think the tweakable part is what makes it sound better. Stadium has taken this idea even further with their GUI making it very easy to go from what you are thinking in your head, to a real output on a live stage.

Fabian of Amalgam fame also has this on offer.

No recordings of the clones :(

For those talking about capturing a fuzz and having the fuzz thinking it’s seeing a pickup instead of a buffered capture device this is what’s needed. These are made for using fuzz with wireless systems or buffered loop switchers. There are multiple ‘un-buffer’ products, this is just one I know of.

IK's reamp box has a jumper inside to set the impedance around 15k I believe.

Edit: Google says 2.4k but I measured it and pretty sure it was higher.

That’s interesting. I have their AxeIO solo or whatever the hell it is. I’ll have to investigate.
