Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

Here's some clips.

Stadium - real Revv Generator MKIII, the proxy of it, and the model of the Line6 Revv Generator, which is a MK1.
Stadium - real Recto, the proxy of it.
QC - real Revv Generator MKIII, the v2 capture of it.

The QC Revv capture sounds pretty good on my headphones.

Is it just me or is the Stadium real amp recording very slightly attenuating something in the high mids or top end compared to the QC’s real amp recording here?

I feel like I’m missing some of the grit in the pick attack.

EDIT: totally possible the QC outs have some color too. It just stood out to me on initial listen.

I wonder what it is w the high gain stuff , because you mentioned as well w the Agoura modelling .
It seems great on the cleans EOB
But most complaints on this forum and others Center around the high gains and now it seems proxy is having similar issues
Maybe it was this issue mentioned in the 1.3 release notes
  • Certain Agoura amp and cab combinations are now more accurate at the top of the cab's passband (typically 3-6 kHz) and in a few cases, at a low frequency resonant peak (around 100 Hz). This does not affect any default amp/cab combinations

That could be down to the specific amp, mic choice, mic placement, mic pre, cab, speaker, room, cables, etc. etc.

Wow, this is amazing. It's exactly what we needed.

Another youtuber just here to hawk their wares with barely an attempt to engage with the forum. Can't believe we've never seen this before, what a novel idea. :facepalm
Hi! I didn't mean to offend anyone with my post; I've been making videos about Helix (both the old one and the Stadium one) for a while now, and I've already shared several presets for free. I just wanted to share my experience using Proxy. Sorry if this bothered you, but several users share their videos, and I simply did the same. Have a great day!

Were these recorded since yesterday morning? Because if not, they probably represent a beta version of Proxy (and therefore, violate your NDA;)).

Those other posters also engage in the forum instead of just trying to drive traffic to their YouTube channel. You've had 55 posts here and only 15 of them don't involve you posting a video. I wouldn't care if you were trying to take part in the discussions but you're not. You post a video and then run. You're purely here for clicks.

From my perspective, even posting relevant tests/tutorials on the forum helps users; for example, my latest video is helpful for those who want to get a concrete idea of the cloning process on Helix Stadium. Of course, everyone has their own opinion, and I respect yours.

Were all the commercial Proxy captures available already taken with the official release version? And if not, wouldn't that violate NDAs as well?

Your monetized video you mean. Like I said I wouldn't care if you were an active participant in the forum but you're not. You're purely here to spam the forum and drive traffic to your channel.

Oooohh..good point.

Let's face it, betatesters have an (unfair? No idea...) advance over plain users when it comes to content creation. Many moons back I actually planned to come up with a kinda semi-commercial Logic thing (mix of videos and PDFs), but as I was out of the beta team by then (simply because I didn't jump onto the Apple train early enough), that was a pointless thing because when new versions were released, it would've taken me a lot of time to cover anything new - but at the very release days the betatesting authors already had their books and what not ready.
