Nah, it was another bug (which was eventually fixed in Helix Native but is still present in Metallurgy because that was unfortunately instant abandonware as far as updates go).



Bugs are expected to slip through the net, it happens and many people don't really have the means to check this kind of stuff (IIRC the response to this at the time was "_____ YouTuber said if sounded fine" )

Sometimes they are obvious bugs, and sometimes it's just a quirk/intended behaviour, and in those cases I think some discussion is useful to understood why it behaves the way it does. Thats why users have a much better grasp these days of things like SIC's, IR's, poweramp behaviour etc.

It does happen all the time , James freeman just found one on Fractal that FAS thought was natural Inter modulation distortion but it turned out to be a bug and now it been fixed

Perhaps a separate thread is in order for those of us who do enjoy digging into this stuff but want to avoid kicking off WW3 every time a new set of clips or measurements gets posted?

I’m just thinking folks coming into this thread for general helpful info shouldn’t have to wade through tens of pages of bickering while we figure out how to convincingly prove or refute existing Agoura concerns.

At the very least, we’re down a significant rabbit hole.

Follow the paper trail - all this got started when a few of us made the observation that the high-frequency content of Stadium seems relatively subdued compared to Fractal, HX, and in my case I was saying real amps too. I posted a frequency sweep of a range of these to compare to Stadium, and posted a screenshot. Pretty much left it there, beyond saying that my appreciation for the Agoura tones was on the wane a little.

Some other people posted clips to try and explore that idea. Some other people seemed affronted that we were even having the conversation.

And that's where the bickering starts. I'm sure we can all bicker, and give as good as we get. But I think it was @mikah912 who said he'd like to see more data, and I too am of that opinion. I'll fight and tumble with anyone, but my first priority is to actually talk about and explore the topic at hand.
