Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

That gives a nice vibe that's almost Andy Timmon-like. I'll have to try that one out sometime over the weekend. Thanks.
I did stick it at the end of the chain after my "first pass Keeley Halo emulation".

damn that knob GUI is very ugly and not very legible an all white scheme would have been much better

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, I try to use the crisscross delay the same way, and that's what I was going to try first--integrating it with the crisscross first rather than just swapping it in.

I actually bought a Halo pedal over the summer, and when the capture feature comes live, and if it can profile effects, that pedal might be the first thing I try to get a proxy of.

As far as whether focus changes save with snaps, I snap enabled all the knobs on the Revv Gen Purple in my patch.
Hit save for posterity's sake. Then I went to Snapshot 2 and moved the focus to one corner all the way. I then pressed the save button twice
on the Stadium. Did the same thing for Snapshots 3 and 4, saving after every drag of the focus to a different extreme corner.

I went through my Snapshot buttons and focused on the Revv Gen Purple block. Every time I pressed a Snap button, all of the
amp values changed to way different values as expected. So whether it was supposed to behave that way, at least saving
after every snap edit including Focus guarantees you won't get snagged by a glitch in Stadium or Stadium Edit. I've always saved Snapshots/Scenes that way on every device I have owned and still own. Nice warm fuzzy whether necessary or not!!!

Really? Because according to a few very vocal people at TOP the FAS virtual capo is garbage :rofl I'm pretty happy with it, but I also don't have any other modelers to compare it to right now.
I tried poly capo on the OG HELIX and had all kinds of artifacts with 1 semi tone. Had it set to stable too.

I have Axe FX III and FM9 Turbo. I have not tried virtual capo on Stadium XL yet. I will compare them extensively because I alway use it for anything from Eb tuning down to D and occasionally lower tuning.

Sliders were not that great in OG Helix. I've always had a hard time with blue and red blocks parameters.

At least texts should be white on black. And if leaving all white on black is not done because the color is useful somehow, they could draw a colored rectangle or whatever.

Yeah not a fan of the color scheme - I would prefer normal looking knobs and maybe the more subtle highlighting using the current color coding.
Agreed they have to get it to be more of a glow red illumination IMO your flagship product should not have the same looks as your $150 dollar POD express

Tried booting up my Stadium this morning. After several minutes, I was greeted by a message that said "You have been logged out of your account". I had the option to OK or cancel. I hit OK. It sat at the X logo and never continued past that point. Restarting cured it.
Same happened to me about 5 days ago. It hasn’t happened since.

I was going to use the stadium for my gig on Saturday, but after playing around with it for a while, I’ve decided to revert back to the AFX3 for the gig.

I’m having a few challenges on the stadium compared to the AFX3:

- Preset levelling. How is this supposed to work? I’ve been using the meter in my Focusrite software to aim at about -6db, and then set the output block block in the stadium to -4 for rhythm snapshots so my solo is not going above the preset levelling
Axe-Edit preset leveling window is pretty useful isn't it?
Here I guess there's also multiple ways to adjust levels - so I've been sticking with the same approach as I have with Fractal, I just adjust the amp block level control.

- Decent delay settings for lead and rhythm. I’m used to the ducking options in the AFX3 to stop it getting ‘mushy’. Got something fairly good dialled in, but not fully happy
Yeah all the delay blocks should have a ducking section.

- The poly shifter doesn’t seem as good as either the AFX3 or the Digitech Drop. Lots of strange artifacts regardless of setting (and noticeable lag if set to X stable)
Preliminary testing, but Poly Capo seemed great for first impressions - I was not getting the warble on sustained chords as with Fractal - instead I detect a bit of warble on the attack.
- Parrallel paths for reverb and delay. I suspect it's user error, but seems a lot more complex than it should be!
you can do that. Perhaps not as immediately apparent as in the Axe-Fx 3 grid for example, and perhaps not as extensive as that but it's doable. I'm assuming you mean the usual, dry line in the middle, reverb on a separate row, delay on yet another separate row? The trick Is using Path 1A (forward to path 2A) and then use Path 1B and Path 2B to put the delay and reverb on their own.

This actually probably not far off the answer DI would give
“ so you want us to put Agoura engineers on an app to fix the Colors ?
If I was PO on the editor, there wouldn't be knobs at all. I remember having discussions with our software designers but they ignored me haha.

My answer, at least for now—and this is not Line 6's official answer—is "use slider view." :D
