Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

What I am noticing on re-listening to the Signal Theory demos is that the Fenders sound and feel right to me - that was my one complaint with Helix - that the Fender amps lacked some heft, weight and 'clang'. I clearly get a sense of that with the new Agoura amp models.

Some of the Tweed amps also seem to have more harmonic content...more 3D. Definitely like it.

Lastly, the Marshalls have a snarl and a different attack now which wasn't fully developed in the Helix (although, I did do a lot of comparison between Helix Plexi and the UA Lion, and I couldn't believe how close they were. So not knocking the Helix Plexi here - it is very good as it stands today for anyone playing one).

Everything else, I thought sounded great (minus the Bogner XTC which I thought something wasn't quite there - Agoura sounds/'feels' much better)

Was Signal Theory created bc no one would take a worship tutorials high gain demo seriously? It's literally the same dudes :wat
Here's the AI answer to that question:

Signal Theory and Worship Tutorials are two separate channels/brands from the same creators, with a key difference being their content focus: Worship Tutorials is for gear and playing related to church music, while Signal Theory focuses specifically on general guitar gear, presets, and tone, separate from a worship context. Signal Theory was launched in 2025 to handle the gear content, allowing the original Worship Tutorials channel to maintain its vision for church-related tutorials.

Signal Theory
  • Focus: General guitar gear, presets, and discussions about tone that are not specific to worship music.
  • Content: Pedal demos, amp and guitar discussions, and the release of gear presets.
  • Purpose: To provide a dedicated space for gear-related content and presets.
Worship Tutorials
  • Focus: Gear and playing tutorials specifically for church worship music.
  • Content: Videos and resources tailored to the needs of church players.
  • Purpose: To continue providing its original content vision for church music players.

??? SW is shipping. Either that or I have an AI generated Fedex number.
It appears that SW got a very small allocation of units to ship, so many people, if they weren't "day 1 or 2 preorders" are now having to wait until December.

Yeah, I have no clue. I don't know what ' Worship Tutorials' even means. Never was 'worship' related to a particular sound or a guitar tone...but there's this whole industry around this terrible super ambient, ethereal sound (clearly something man dreamed up). The whole P&W scene is a terrible mess - mediocre lyrics, mediocre music and many hipsters.
