Kemper delays and reverbs are beautiful!
Seconded. Granted, i don't have that much experience with Kemper products - but i always quite liked their effects.

‘Any chance of an upgrade using carrier pigeon?’
I have to give Kemper this. The reverbs are better than anything in Helix. I still hold Fractal as the gold standard for both.Kemper delays and reverbs are beautiful!
I am finding some good combinations in the Helix of delay and chorus. The FAS fx has a clarity to it and defaults are just really instantly great to my ears comparatively.I have to give Kemper this. The reverbs are better than anything in Helix. I still hold Fractal as the gold standard for both.
I still find myself doing some "manual intervention" here and there on the Stadium but nowhere near where I felt I had to with the last gen stuff? Some small, light with things to sculpt tones as I like them. Still very much impressed and find myself wanting to play every day with it. So that's gotta be a good sign! You can actually get a lot of mileage out of the HX delays and reverbs, but ideally you'd use a parallel path for them so you could, say, deliberately EQ them and apply other FX without the dry signal being affected.
With the limitation of the OG Helix of one split per path only lifted, that alone could potentially improve your FX life (whereas on the OG HX I always found myself having to use the split path for something else). But it's still not exactly instant gratification.

I'm sure you have but have you messed around with the hype parameter? I felt like that brightened and tightened and plexi when turning upThe only casualty so far - not getting along with the Plexi for the crunchier tones I like but I think it’s less of a modeling issue and more that i prefer the brighter, stiffer 70s 1959
The hype helps a little, and I still need to put in some more time with the secondary parameters.I'm sure you have but have you messed around with the hype parameter? I felt like that brightened and tightened and plexi when turning up

Detecting as an input device is normal. No issues here on Mac wireless or wired. Pretty smooth experience overall.Anyone else had an issue when you plug in via USB, your Mac thinks it’s a keyboard?
I plugged mine in and it literally ate my computer. Like I’m going to have to purchase a new computer because it corrupted the hard drive and I can’t fix it.
Didn’t realize you could do this wirelessly…Detecting as an input device is normal. No issues here on Mac wireless or wired. Pretty smooth experience overall.
If it’s too crunchy, up the headroom parameter. I have that maxed out on a number of my patches. The mix can be a bit tricky to set but once you get it you get it.I'm gonna need to try out the Cosmos![]()
