Line 6 Helix Stadium Pre-Launch Discussion

From the parameter panel:

Determines the location of speaker impedance characteristics in the power amp, primarily due to negative feedback. Higher values mean the effects of the interaction appear at the output of the power amp (Post) and lower values mean more of the effect is fed back to the input of the power amp (Pre).

Shouldn't it be in this table and accessible through the search bar?

Honestly Jon, your video was the first one I wanted. We have very similar ideas on tones, and I knew you'd do all the stylistic shit I do. I'm basically sold on this unit, and I'm soooooooo glad I sold my Quad Cortex earlier in the year. Just gotta wait for Andertons to pull their finger out now!
They're not shipping the units themselves are they?

Yes - I guess what we're saying is that it's still not as good as it could be on ODs, distortions and fuzzes. Not saying it isn't good (it's probably some of the the best out there right now)

I understand, improvements are always welcomed. What I'm trying to say is that I was never really happy with the amps and also the od in general, but the way they made the fuzz react so close to the real ones really impressed me. I always give the example of how well it mimics the bendito of real fuzz faces when you roll the volume just a touch, it takes the mud out leaving pretty much all the gain. The way the Helix model does exactly that really made an impression on me.

The amps sound good to me on Stadium from the clips I'm hearing.

Of course, I'd have to have the unit in my hands to really experience them for myself through my guitar cabs to make an assessment.

From the pick attack that I'm seeing on many of the videos - I think they've got the attack, and bloom and compression right...this is super important to capturing authenticity.

In fact, I'd go far as saying that the tone doesn't even matter if the feel is just right (yeah, yeah I know....the feel comes from the tone....blah, bah...you get what I'm saying).

So yeah, hopefully we'll be able to pair best in class amp models with new agoura models of the ODs and Fuzzes soon.

Fuzz for me is the single one thing I couldn't get to sound right with the Floor. I didn't expect this to change with 1.1 but would love to see something new (Agoura?) down the line. I never had any problems with all the other dirt options though and used Helix as my standalone pedalboard for the last 8 years.

Oh WOW!

My unit is on the way - just shipped from GC! It's amazing because I switched from MF to GC (better rewards) exactly 2 weeks ago and it still worked out!

My first time ever ordering something early - usually I wait 3-5 years before getting something like this. There goes all my self discipline - but I do think this unit is worth it. Can't wait to get it!

Xenomorph fuzz is a stone cold classic for me.
