Line 6 Helix Stadium Pre-Launch Discussion

I think his main problem with it (gain staging) was actually found to be a bug, which was squashed.
I mean, that was probably a fair observation on his part. I was more concerned about him seeming confused that there wasn’t a “new generation” of effects, or that amp modeling quality seemed inconsistent. He was comparing Agoura to non Agoura models. Just seemed odd.

Hey @Digital Igloo we appreciate the shout out in the manual!

That was Steve F! I might be a bad influence on him...

Does he have his custom presets for sale where he just takes a factory preset and saves them under a different name?

WHERE IS TIM TO LET US KNOW OF HIS ORDER STATUS
I have spent way too much time with AI songster making Tim country songs this week
I am not paying for a subscription to post here but I have been pretty impressed with the lyrics it spits out

He no stranger to trying
But in the end he won’t be buying

I hope the waitlist will be shorter , now that Timbuck3 has cancelled his order

Been jumping through all of the vids the past 70 minutes or so. Really appreciate Cordy doing a deep dive on the factory presets.

@Digital Igloo or anyone with a lot of experience with one, really: The Search field on the preset list will search by genres as well, as long as that genre is mentioned in the "Info" tab, correct?

Wondering if there's any funk stuff in factory, and haven't seen/heard it yet. I used Helix's "Funk 'N Roll" preset quite a bit. I could always export that and add it in, but wanted to know if that box was checked for Agoura amps....

I looked for the Z PrePost parameter and its description on the manual but couldn't find anything about it. @Digital Igloo
From the parameter panel:

Determines the location of speaker impedance characteristics in the power amp, primarily due to negative feedback. Higher values mean the effects of the interaction appear at the output of the power amp (Post) and lower values mean more of the effect is fed back to the input of the power amp (Pre).

Yep. Preset Info could be all metatags if you're into the, y'know, brevity thing.
