Line 6 Helix Stadium Pre-Launch Discussion

i don’t despise it (too much) but I like to check the Amp and Digital Emporiums over there. It’s just odd to see what makes it into the trending topics list now and then.
Yeah the only reason I ever go there is to shop or try and sell something. I don’t venture to any other part.

This sounds like you could work around potential limitations with e.g using a boost with the 2203, or using whatever the other channel on the Revv is available in the block. Remember that Agoura models can have multiple channels in one amp block.

Overall multiple presets sounds like a way better idea for your fx combinations. If the preset switching is instant, then I see no real issue with this.
Is preset switching instant on Stadium? Didn't hear that.

Anyway, in my Helix LT I have several songs split into 2-3 presets, and I've managed to have them ready to switch in a moment where I have 1s of silence. That's enough for me.

Not at launch on the gapless switching. I think it's less of a deal with the extra DSP + having channels integrated on a lot of Agoura models.

I wonder how they will do that (when they do it). In current Helix there's preset spillover, but it requires using only one of the paths, which is not very useful for me.

Even a Hotone Ampero 2 Stomp managed to do it so I'm sure there are better ways than dedicating an entire processor for it.

Hi, guys. Sorry if my question is dumb and already discussed... i've looked for an answer but i'm still uncertain. In the new Stadium the old amps will be in a subcategory "legacy amps". Ok, fine. What about the effects? I've read something about some missing eq, replaced by the new one) so i'm warried about the legacy effects from old M13. Will be still in the new hardware? I've some of them in my presets and not shure if i will loose them or not.

Tx for your attention!

Except for some EQs, there's been no talk of any current effects not being available in Helix. Just the legacy cabs, as I recall.

Yes, Agoura has higher oversampling. The main takeaway, however, is that "Oh, I can hear aliasing from this YouTube video" should never be taken seriously.

YouTube audio isn't good. I've done a few clips that I posted to YouTube where the tones are really different after posting compared to the raw tracks.

The last of my current gen Helix hardware left the building this weekend. Maybe this is what empty nesters feel like…at least until the Stadium XL lands.

I imagine tomorrow has the potential to have some movement on shipping information! Although my SW rep would let me know what wave I was in when he had more info and I still haven't heard 😂
